Prediction League????
Was talking to a few of the lads on the Green who were interersted in raising some money by a Birkrigg Park Football Prediction League
Anyone could enter and say give £2 to enter and just predict scores each week and the winner would recieve a prize at the end of the season eg a bottle of wine, chocolates etc.
If anyone is interested (and not just boys) put your name below this comment and I'l see what I can do!
I personally think this is a good way of raising some money as it is fun and competitive

Re: Prediction League????
I would be interested in joining the prediction league. As you say it is fun and also it will raise money for the committee, great idea scott Will the prediction league be on the Barclays Premier League or your dodgy scottish league with only two teams Only joking mate. Keep up the good work

Re: Prediction League????
Anyway, if this goes ahead, I would post 3 Tuesday night games on a Sunday and the deadline for predictions would be on a Monday and I'd post 6 Saturday games on a Wedensday night and the deadline for these would be on a Friday night.
The rules would be 10 points for corrects score and 5 points for the scorer so if the match was 'Rangers V Celtic' and I put Rangers to win 4-2 with Boyd scoring and Rangers won 4-2 but Boyd didn't score I would get 10 points and the person with the most points at the end of the season would win
I've thought about this one

Re: Prediction League????
Perhaps if we go give out some leaflets about the forum then we can mention your prediction league on them?

Re: Prediction League????
Right, I'l start it and anyone who wants to join later can give me the money when they wish to join.
Boys, if you give me the money tomorrow or during the holiday, I'l put it in a tin or something and give it to Alex for the next meeting
I'l post games for Tuesday tonight and just copy all the games and put a score and scorer next to the games.
Thanks, Scott
