BPRA Lotto & New Year Empty BPRA Lotto & New Year

Post  Scott Thu Oct 16, 2008 10:25 pm

I remember me and Kelly talking to Edward about a big party on the Green on New Year with music, drink, fireworks etc. and we could bring in the New Year as an estate rather thean a few people going to there neighbours houses. It is also good as everyone would be invited and no one would be left out. I think this would raise loads of money for us and like the Fun Day would bring neighbours together.

Also, I like the idea of a BPRA Lotto. If everyone on the committee picks a number then a committee member could put the numbers on and see if we wen. All winnings would go towards the committee. Also, you make a rotar of who puts the numbers on so one member one week, another the next until back to the beginning when the cycle continues.

Thanks,

Scott Very Happy

As i suggested in the other topic in 'The Green' forum we oculd do this at christams eve if we were to get a christmas tree we could do things like carols.

We could sing Christmas carols around our tree whilst committee members serve mince pies, mulled wine, cans off coke/beer etc. Would be a good night Very Happy

Depends on how much we win doesn't it? If we were to win a 120 million euro millions jackpot then give 1 million to each house if we won something like 10 million then buy a state of the art sports complex only for residents Wink Razz

Guys,

The lotto would be very dificult to set up. As a committee the rules of the lotto are such that volunteer groups are not allowed to take the cash. We can apply to the lotto for a grant but can't take part as a committee.

Sorry
